The game was never 3-0, it was 2-1 when I was listening on the radio earlier. But great shot by Briere on the power play. Buffalo finally got a chance to score and I think their offense just realized the 2nd period is underway. Sabres with a power play. The game getting nastier. Connolly just got faceplanted into the boards, pushed from behind. That's going to be a called.. probably boarding. 5 on 3 coming for Sabres. Mike Richards what were you thinking.. Versteeg got absolutely plastered for that clear. Crowd went nuts. Fail power play, both 5 on 3 and 5 on 4. Gerbe scores finally... 4-3 Buffalo. He was given 1 on 1 vs the goalie and should have taken it. I'm gonna laugh if the Sabres are the ones that knock him out of the playoffs. Play going back and forth like crazy. Defense be damned.
