edicius 3,269 Report post Posted April 23, 2011 (edited) Hah, they think Malkin might play in the playoffs. How is that a goal? No call from the ref EDIT: Ref says no goal, net off the moorings, puck never went in. Good eyes, Letestu. Edited April 23, 2011 by edicius

edicius 3,269 Report post Posted April 23, 2011 Go Tampa. Hope they can come back in the series and knock out the Penguins. A 3-1 deficit ain't like it used to be, that's for sure. I think Minnesota really broke that when they came back from 3-1 twice in the same postseason. Doesn't seem as insurmountable since then. Happened against the Caps last season too, no? Vladifan 680 Report post Posted April 23, 2011 At first the THE Waddly Ones looked like they had their s*** together. Then both teams looked inept. But OBviously, the Lightning has had much better and more timely eptitude. I am thrilled with how this game is going!! Except for the calls. Lightning have had one so far? GO, LIGHTNING! GO, STEVIE!! SIDEWAYS AND ROTATING, BETTMAN AND THE REST OF YOUR LITTLE FEATHERED FRIENDS!!
BigWillieStyle 662 Report post Posted April 23, 2011 (edited) "Well, either Kovalev caught him OR HE CAUGHT HIMSELF WITH HIS STICK" -Bob Errey expert color man. It's 6-0 now. I think it's safe to go back to cleaning out the horse stalls. Done with the Homer announcers. Errey now talking about running The Bolts because they have their big guns out still. You never had those kinda balls on the ice, Errey. 7-0 I'm out. Edited April 23, 2011 by BigWillieStyle 1 Vladifan reacted to this
HankthaTank 1,100 Report post Posted April 23, 2011 Johnson? He'll pull a "noodles" McLennan on St. Louis. And there it was... Johnson with the shove. Unbelievable comic relief for the day.

plopster 136 Report post Posted April 23, 2011 (edited) Check this out. The Dbag for the Pens says, "Well the Lightning are staying with St. Louis, Lecavlier, and Stamkos, so the Lightning aren't feeling sorry for the Penguins. If I'm the Penguins, I'm going to take a run through these guys." WTF? Who says some s*** like that? These guys are horrible. I can't believe I am stuck watching the *******. That was after he said the forward hooked their goalie, when the goalie was way out of the crease interfering with the forward. These guys are horrible. VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted April 23, 2011 Looks like Chicago is inspiring other teams now. I wonder if there have ever been so many blowouts in elimination games in such a short time span before?

So even the play-by-play guys endorse goonery and headhunting. Still waiting for Mario to speak up on Cooke and Kunitz. plopster 136 Report post Posted April 23, 2011 Now he wants a call for his Pens because a guy tried to split the D and failed epically. "hey they are playing the game out, this isn't a college basketball game, don't put the whistles away!" Wow I hate that guy. And their organization that much more. edicius 3,269 Report post Posted April 23, 2011 (edited) Hey, what else would you expect from the broadcast crew that: A) Hid a vital camera angle from Toronto that would have ensured a Philly goal B) Made a very, very tasteless Hobey Baker joke C) Suggested that the Penguins should start taking runs at Tampa's stars in this game Edited April 23, 2011 by edicius 1 Vladifan reacted to this
HankthaTank 1,100 Report post Posted April 23, 2011 I hate them too but we tend to forget our announcers, though I love Ken and Mick, complain all game about miscalls on us. We may need to keep perspective somehow. F the Pens regardless tho!
Jenny 315 Report post Posted April 23, 2011 I have the feeling that if the Pens' announcers thought they could get away with it, they would actually blatantly say that Pittsburgh is losing this game on purpose as part of a master plan.
HankthaTank 1,100 Report post Posted April 23, 2011 CBC is already starting to make it sound like Pittsburgh has all the momentum for game 6 IF there is one. If they lose, octopus continues to fly on the ice, and hockey is back in Winnipeg, Gary's master plan has failed miserably and I'll love every single second of it all. 1 Vladifan reacted to this
