I'm very conflicted about cheering for Chicago but I can't ignore the awesomeness of playing Nashville and having reasonable start times for our away games. On the other hand I live less than 2 hours from Chicago, am surrounded by Hawks fans, and love watching them suffer after having to listen to them for the past year and a half. If you think the "Core Debate" thread can be frustrating you should try being surrounded by Chicago meatheads... If Dante was still around I'm pretty sure it would be the new 7th circle of hell.

I actually think vancouver is gonna get their s*** together a little and win tonight. It'll be close, I think 4-3 Van, with the 4th being an EN at the end.

I'm usually too chicken to go out on limbs (how's that for a mixed metaphor?!), but I think Vancouver can win too. Don't know how. Unless they're sick to death of reading their bad press.

Then again, a vote from me is usually the kiss of death. So. Go figure!

As much as I would like Chicago to win to shut up Canuck fans, I think Vancouver wins tonight.

I honestly don't care who we play, since I think either series will be extremely tough (not to mention the WCF, if we make it).

I actually think I'm more wary of playing a team with both a Norris candidate AND a Vezina candidate on the same team than I am the Sharks. This could turn out to be foolish but time will tell.

I only hope all the games tonight go 8 overtimes

I've always liked the Lauren Hart/Kate Smith rendition of "God Bless America". That was always pretty cool when they inserted Kate Smith into the mix.
