DO NOT WANT!!!!!!

Considering that Emery and Turco are the only other options left, I would have to say "do want"...

But since a picture is worth a thousand words...

Like Holland said, Conklin is a "good fit".

Eh I personally would take Emery over both of them.

A goalie with a history of having a bad attitude, coming off a surgery so severe that he was nominated for the Masterton for returning to play afterward.

No thanks.

I don't know I think his time in Russia did him well.

Having to bring your own toilet paper/seat every time you need to break a seal would teach anyone how good they had it in North America...

Bad quality, but still an incredible save. I was at this game and still can't believe Peca didn't score, great save by Conks.

So glad it's not Turco.

I understand the "shine" that Emery has... Honestly, I kinda hoped for him, but I understand we're talking about Emery vs. a proven backup. A guy that's helped tend goal for several Finals Teams vs. a guy who had good time in Russia taking on his trainer/coach because he tried to put a cap on his head "rehabbing" his career.

Sorry, I like Emery... and maybe it was a good fit, but I'll go with the known commodity.

To the naysayers.... it was the fu<<ing Blues. THE BLUES. What did you think would happen to his numbers?

My #millermancrush is undeniable. You're my boy, Drew!

Not a bad pick up especially for the price we got him for. Welcome back!

im all about it, 750k for the year is a great deal. he was good in detroit i became a big fan when he was behind ozzie. if he plays 20-30 games in net i think he can handle that load well enough to get maybe 60% of them in the win column.

So glad it's not Turco.

Inside the Detroit Red Wings offices:

Holland: Okay, now that Ozzie's retired, we need to the address the backup 'tender slot. Whose available?

Some Guy: Conklin's out there. Ray Emery. And....well...giggle...Turco.

Everyone laughs for twenty minutes straight.

Holland: That was genius. Bonus for you this year. Now, lets take anyone off the list that's only won in our building once in like a billion years.
