honestly if I don't compare it to other suspensions and just look at it as a single incident, I'm okay with one game.

Giroux was clearly pissed about a non call, skated up ice, hit Zubrus late and only contacted his head. He didn't get him very hard and Zubrus definitely sold it, but intent was pretty clear and the head was the principal point of contact.

Well they have to start some where, even though they've messed up on the other ones. It shouldn't matter who you are or the outcome. You do the crime, you do the time.

Well I know that but it's a start by suspending Giroux--not a repeat offender, a star and the player was not hurt. It sure would be nice if it carried over into next season.
