I wouldn't mind us acquiring a good PKer like Moen. We're usually better on the PK in the playoffs, but still we could use a little help. Especially with Eaves out. That's one thing that could help us a lot on the road I believe, better special teams.

I have no clue what so ever as to why some people have a hard on for this guy, our bottom 6 is spoken for and then some. Imo a top 6 would help our run and we will need a D man next year.

I think he's ideal for this team, I really do - I've said repeatedly since the SJ series loss that we need to get bigger as a team, and guys like Emmerton and Mursak just aren't going to cut it in the playoffs. He's big, he's physical, he fights, he kills penalties and he's cheap. What more could you want from a 4th liner?

Leaves us with a 4th line of Holmstrom/Moen/Cleary which is big, physical and can score, the only problem there being a lack of a natural centre.

Getting Moen would indeed be awesome.

He'd make us tougher to play against in the playoffs than our current 3rd and 4th liners. He may also cause Abby or Helm to play even more aggressive, which is when they're at their best.

So you would rather run a couple of kids out there on the 4th line than a tough proven winner who has a ring?

Moen isn't as aggressive or as physical as some of you think. And he's not as good defensively now as he was in 2007. But it's irrelevant anyway, because Montreal isn't going to trade him.

I think Mursak is huge in the playoffs? the speed he has through the zone is insane and he doesnt slow down either he keeps the pedal down. You can see guys getting tired chasing him around, his energy is what we need in the playoffs. Moen would be a big step up from Emmerton yes or Holmstrom for that matter so if we don't loose to much more then Emmerton for Moen I wouldn't be opposed at all.
