Doug Armstrong of the St. Louis Blues, David Poile of the Nashville Predators and Dale Tallon of the Florida Panthers have been named the finalists for the 2012 General Manager of the Year Award. It took a lot of stones to make the Richards and Carter trades, then signing Bryz to a big contract and stealing Jagr and Talbot from the Pens. He really should at least be nominated for this.
