There doesn't seem to be a "big guy" on that third line, biggest guy would be abby at 6'1" but thats not big in the nhl, that's average. I don't like that bottom 6, I was looking forward to cleary helm eaves, and a grind line of miller abby tootoo

 

I agree with you, I wanted to see those lines as well.  I think that would be better for the team.  However, Abby does bring a big(ish) body at 215-220 lbs. and I'm just saying that they must want that on the third line with Bert in the top six and Sammy out.  If that's not their thinking then I don't know what is, because Eaves is a MUCH better winger than Abby.  The only thing that makes Abby preferable to Eaves is his size, in skating, scoring, PK, forechecking, and defense, Eaves is a better player.

I get that abby has 30 pounds on eaves but we need pucks in the net, and so far cleary isn't playing well, so we either need miller or eaves on a wing with helm, cause abby can't score

I completely agree.  I was just trying to figure out their thought process, I don't agree with the decision at all though.

Miller scored more goals than any of the team's other grinders last season. 14 goals is not in the least shabby for a player who makes close to league minimum and who can also play effectively on the PK.

I guess, but he is just lame. He is not using that body, he is no defensive specialist despite seeing PK minutes. He is just... there. I would rather see someone more physical in that role.
