Well I'd like to stay positive but this game should have been over in regulation. Snake bitten or not pissing away a five minute PP is disgusting.

And.... series.

it's been a good series, Detroit.

I wonder what kind of pathetic, sheepish display we'll see from the two of you if the Wings win the series.

I am sure you were saying the opposite when Detroit beat Pittsburgh in the 09 cup finals to take a 3-2 series lead.  Oh wait, Pittsburgh won game 6 at home and 7 on Detroit ice to win the cup.  Nevermind.....

Gut check time for Detroit.  We will see how they react in game 6.

Quincey was good couple bad pressured plays but he was a help out there. Smith, Kindl and Lashoff did nothing but survive and make terrible plays all night long. Our defense gave this game away

Unfortunately this ones on Andersson despite playing a good game.

Bad example.

If Detroit plays like they did tonight its over, they need to come out in game 6 and play 60 mins or it is over.

We are competing with rookies. If Eaves and Bertuzzi were Helm and Abdelkader, that game would be a lot less sloppy.

My boy Kindl looked bad on that last sequence.  Gotta say it, though I don't like it.

Ugh, this one didn't feel right from the start. We were out there blowing off major penalties and Howard was working way too hard. I got a ticket to game 6 hoping we could bring it home, but looks like we'll be playing with our backs to the walls.

well at least it ended quickly

our missed chances came back to bite us, kinda like the missed opportunities early in game 3

question is, how will the Wings respond now?

we do get Abby back on Friday, at least

They will climb back on board the Detroit Red Wings bus as they have for the last 20+ years.  Otherwise, that Sharks bus is looking pretty good right now to them.

Pretty sure we have won 2 games in a row before.  Close series, tough goal.  Lets get em in game 6 at the Joe.
