rrasco 1,312 Report post Posted June 21, 2013 I guess we can quit worrying about Blashill going to Dallas. However, who's going to end up in Vancouver now, or Buffalo? They didn't fill the position in Buffalo yet, did they? The Dallas Stars on Friday announced Lindy Ruff has been hired as the team's new coach. Ruff, 53, is 12th all-time with 571 wins. He compiled a record of 571-432-84, with 78 ties, in 15 seasons as coach of the Buffalo Sabres, a tenure that ended when he was fired Feb. 20. "I am honored to be joining the Dallas Stars organization," Ruff said in a statement announcing the hiring. "After speaking at length with Jim Nill, it was clear that all the right pieces are coming together to return this club to the upper-echelon of the NHL. I look forward to leading its resurgence." http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=674756

akustyk 84 Report post Posted June 23, 2013 (edited) I had to smile for this dumb photo but otherwise please f* off! seriously... that was one of the worst forced smiles I ever saw curious to see what will come out of this. Ruff isn't a bad coach to lead young teams, it might work for Stars... Edited June 23, 2013 by akustyk
