rick zombo 3,739 Report post Posted March 28, 2014 Lost in all the chaos of injuries and trying to make the playoffs, it just hit me: We've got some forwards that can shoot the puck. Nyquist Tatar Sheahan Jurco Pulkinen (if all goes well) Mantha (ditto) + Z and Mule, and sometimes Datsyuk Pretty cool eh? I think the last time we had 4 forwards that could legitimately shoot the puck was in 2009 with Hossa, Z, Hudler, Mule. I wonder if someday the Wings might stop constanly going back to the point in the O-zone hoping for a deflection or a screen from the ghost of Holmstrom. It is refreshing to have so many guys on the roster (when healthy) that are threats to score.
