Troy McClure 347 Report post Posted March 12, 2024 Another player I really like on waivers: PITs John Gruden 6ft LW turning 24 in May. From Rochester Hills, MI. Very fast and very tough for an average sized player. This is a guy who is certainly going to make the jump to the Penguins fulltime next year. If we claim him post TDL he's not allowed to play in the playoffs. Claim anyway. This is one of the bottom 6 forwards we need next year, and he's a mich native and probable wings fan. Doesn't that seem ironically stupid? Guys stashed on LTIR too hurt to play game 82, but can play in the playoffs... waiver claims; hard no.
