Berggren was really good last night again. Had two world class passes to set up scoring changes, one Veleno botched and the other Walman put off the pipe. His assists are going to skyrocket the minute we get a finisher or two playing regularly on this team.

The one point that stood out to me was Cokey's backcheck to nullify a 2 on 1.  He started skating like a bandit.  Reminded me of Fedorov racing back to catch Gretzky.  Not nearly as smooth or as effortless looking, but still a great backcheck.  A lot of people have forgotten something - Vrana is REALLY GOOD at hockey.  At some point, you have to throw a guy in the trash can if he just can't kick the stupid off ice antics, but I'm excited to see if Cokey hits a homer after taking 2 strikes.  Would be good for the Yzerplan, the Red Wings, and the fans.
