This would be a good win for us after the Toronto game. The Flyers are only a decent team, but they play really hard and make it tough to beat them (kinda like the Islanders). If we can beat a high end offensive team in Toronto and then outwork Philly for a win tonight you'd have to think the team would be happy with the progress. You HAVE to be able to beat tough teams to win anything in the NHL.

“Kane bails on a play and turns the puck over to avoid a hit in the neutral zone” is the story of the season. I can’t believe I just saw that.

Older guys can't take hits like we used too. Me wonders if that injury he had is a shoulder or similar hence the greater avoidance of contact. Not that he is a banger to begin with.

Kane is a liability at 5 on 5. Give his easy minutes (and Tarasenko’s too) to Dcat and Berggren, trade the old guys, and bring in Cozens and Crouse.

Cozens for Kane, lottery protected 2025 1st, and Berggren.

Crouse for Shai Buium and a 2nd

I'm a gard, so I don't have the video.   Looked to me that Ed got nailed with a pretty good elbow to his face.   Guessing his jaw is either broken or pretty sore at this point.   I figure he'll be wearing an 'I'm a brave boy now' cage when he comes back.

This looked so blatant I thought of Benn nailing Larkin in the back a few years ago.

Ristolainen is a big boy, but hardly a guy Edvinsson shouldn’t fight when next we play Philly. He needs to let them know he’s not going to tolerate that sh*t.
