You do realize Hossa has less points than Franzen in these playoffs? And that Franzen missed 4 months of the season with a torn ACL and that kind of injury can take a while to fully recover from?are people still glad we kept franzen in stead of going after hossa?

That was the moment in the game that I went from being really worried and uncertain to thinking "The Wings will win this.". Just a huge double-save at a huge moment in the game (and series).
Howie is back to playing like the guy that got us to the playoffs.

No confidence, too slow with his shots..
Right now I'd say it's advantage Phoenix. But it's a one shot game so anything can happen.

The Devils couldn't contain Leino, obviously. That was their downfall.
But seriously, it was not completely unexpected that Philly would put up a fight, but that they'd go and win it in 5?
Haven't seen much from the series, but it sounds like Boucher has played great and he's going to have to keep doing that if they don't want to get run over by Washington.

We won't just win Game 4, we'll win it so much that the Coyotes throw in the towel on the series, quit hockey and take up curling instead.Forgive my stupidity but I don't understand the OP...if we win game 4 doesn't it become a best of 3? What do you mean it won't be a best of 3?

Zetterberg was a beast in the last couple of minutes. If only Bertuzzi wasn't the opposite of clutch.
I'm worried about Howard. He was the big question mark coming into the playoffs and he has not been convincing in any of the 3 games so far. 4th goal tonight was a BIG no-no.
Series is far from over, but obviously the next game is a MUST win.

It's easy to blame Howard, and yes that 4th goal was really bad and killed any hope we had of a comeback, but the Wings have to make Bryzgalov work more.
How many quality chances have we had this game? 2? 3? That's including the goals. No offense whatsoever this game. Also the defense hasn't helped Howie much.

Zetterberg was the 1st star tonight, his beard the 2nd.Did you also notice Zetterbergs sick beard growth, he had nothing at puckdrop in the first game and now two days later a full beard.... insane.

Good news, our PP has been suffering due to only playing with 4 guys out there. Getting a 5th guy in there will surely help.Also, defenseman Brad Stuart will take over at the point of the second power-play unit, opposite Niklas Kronwall.

Wow, great job! I actually hadn't seen #6 and #7, those were great plays.
Obviously #1 is just insane..
I hope the Wings can add the right kind of players to enable us to put the two of them together again. I believe they'll find their chemistry again if they're given time, seems like everytime we've put them together the last year or two they've had this enormous pressure to instantly produce.
