Last two suspensions given by the NHL have been terrible.

Abby has more goals in the 2013 playoffs than Doan....

Is it me or is Mickey and Ken fawning a little too much over Hiller?

I'm sure they're doing much better than the NBCSN crew.

My problem with Abdelkader is he hasn't gotten any better. Datsyuk and Lidstrom became gym rats and honed their crafts as the seasons went by. Abdelkader is the same player he was when he broke in.

You don't think he's gotten better from last year? Or even the beginning of this season? Abby leads the team in even strength goals- I don't think anyone would have predicted the season would end with him leading.

 

I think his play in the corners, his play in front of the net, and his decision making have improved. IMO he'll never be the type of player to carry a line himself, but he has learned to be an effective complimentary player on a scoring line.

 
Yes, and he put us on the PK in a vital game. Ridiculous.

Do you think he did anything to receive a penalty? What Smith did wasn't any worse than what the Dallas player did to Q.

That was the beginning of a fight, not a penalty.

Nyquist is looking more comfortable each game. Starting to create a lot of scoring chances with his speed and creativity.

Between him improving and Mule playing center, the Wings may not need Flip next season.

True, he doesn't have a ring but Shane Doan was just calling it like he saw it. He didn't cuss out or swear at Abby he simply stated a fact. Abby was chirping away at one of the coyote's player and Shane Doan stood up for his teammate and told Abby he should be ashamed for having only 11 points with Z and D. Doan didn't really instigate anything he just got fed up with Abby running his mouth. And to be honest, Abby did shut up after that. He was sitting quietly in the penalty box lol.

How do you know the Yotes player didn't in initiate the chirping? How do you know Doan didn't swear at Abby thoughout the game? Have you ever seen Abby chirp from the penalty box in other circumstances?

Doan was upset his team was being outplayed, and his team was being physically pushed around by Abby. Doan selfishly took himself off the ice for four minutes (could have been more if the fight got going), and put his team short handed, in a game that the Yotes needed to win to keep their playoffs hopes alive.

If Abby is getting under the skin of the other team's best player, he is doing his job well.

Good on Smith for going after anyone near Howard.

When are they going to call these clowns running Howard?

I think he does a fantastic job speaking.  Better than listening to a lot of them with the uh, um, uh.

He speaks very well, but it was as if it was played at 1.5x speed.
