Franzen is a better goal scorer for the value and ice time than Perry, and that's what we need on this team.

Not everything is about scoring goals. Give me a player that scores less than Franzen but gives 100% on every shift.

Just wanted to add some more praise for Lashoff. Kid has played great tonight.

I said it during last season and I believe it even more so now. Every person on this teams should be on the trading block except for Datsyuk, Helm, and I guess Z and Howard.

Anyone else wish we "overpaid" for a quality player?

My vote is for Helm.

I would much rather overpay Suter with a 7.5 mil cap than not get him at all.

Bump it up to 7.5/year and hand him the pen.

Well he's a super player and deserves every penny. We may hate him as a Penguin, but to be honest I'd love having Crosby reprasenting the winged wheel.

Hope, he will stay concussionfree and I want to beat the best Penguins team possible (especially Crosby and Malkin @ 100 percent).

If I had more than one red wing jersey, I would consider doing it. It's not that I don't like the wings, I just like hockey jerseys. I would still wear a wings jersey to the game.
