An incentive laden contract would be ideal. If Parise doesn't come I would be thrilled with Semin, Suter, Mueller, and Prust.

If we don't get Suter he did fail, that's how this game is played. I don't need to have Parise but Pasha needs help so an NHL proven top 6 forward is my expectation. I didn't mean to sound like the biggest downer on the board but we do need someone in the system to pas the torch off to when the time comes.

You're absolutely correct. Why give up 4 picks for one difference maker when we can get 4 Quincey's?Holland is too tightwad to throw picks away such as 4 #1's don't see that happening anytime soon. 4 1st rounders is too much for anyone. Not when they are about to become UFA the next season.

3 for 9 would be nice but it's not realistic. However politics come into play here and Holland wouldn't want to piss off his agent so you make him a fair offer that will drive up his price elsewhere.

Evander Kane would be worth the compensation if he were to sign. He is already a 30 goal scorer and I doubt Winnipeg matches 6 mil.
