#2268057 Kronwall Destroys Voracek

Posted by Holmstrom96 on 07 March 2012 - 11:11 AM

NHL.com is promoting on it's front page the Kronwall-Voracek hit as one of the "Hits of the Year".

Hopefully this bodes well that the NHL folks are classifying it that way.

In before "This is Minnesota and they have injuries, so this doesn't count."

I don't know...Wings are playing good, but Minny does have some key personnel injured. I'd like to see how we do against a full strength team.

Juuuuuust made it.

Franzen right back to normal, if had been skating hard he'd have had that rebound.

#2264640 Legacy of Ken Holland

Wow so Holland gave up:

Petr Sykora, Patrick Sharp, Alexei Ponikarovsky, Mike Green, Thomas Fleischmann, Mike Comrie, and Mike Knuble for ...

Jamie Macoun, Doug Brown, Stefan Liv, and Robert Lang???

 :scared:

Very good. Holland has made some alrightish moves too. Like building the current team.

It's not that Sykora though. There are two Petr Sykoras. This one has played 12 NHL games during his career.

Wonder how the Jackets fans will receive Nash knowing that he demanded a trade outta there.

They would be dumb to show any negativity towards him after how long he has been there and been dedicated. I think they will cheer him just like any game but with that being said they might be drowned out by Wings fans.

#2264602 Columbus GM Reveals Nash Demanded Trade

Posted by akustyk on 28 February 2012 - 04:01 PM

if you listen to the interview Nash sends pretty obvious message: this management is s***ty, the team, city, fans and he himself deserves better. he's making it a bit to "bright" and trying not good enough to hide his own desire to get out of the mess, but he clearly repeats that the ask for trade was for the good of "team, city, fans and myself" blatantly and continuously omitting any mention of management. and he's not trying to be overly political and nice so you get pretty obvious impression that he's not happy with the situation.

I think it has something to do with him simply wanting to get out and playing some real hockey in playoffs. he probably thought it's gonna happen and now is sore it didn't work out and even got out to the public. can't blame him for this, although he could be a little bit more political about this thing.

Howson going public with "it was him"... is pretty classless here and smells a lot like a guy trying to save his a$$ when his whole resume is 1 playoff appearance in more than 10 seasons. even Maple Leafs achieved more in this time...

Especially thinking you were going to get traded, having this come out, and having to face your fans and teammates.

His teamates obviously already knew. If the fans get all pissed just now, over this one specific announcement, then it just proves that they're idiots who don't really know anything about hockey. As pointed out earlier, he has a NMC, so the fact that he was being shopped with the NMC is exactly the same as him saying "I want out". So it should have already been obvious to everyone that he asked to be traded.

#2262424 Just Say 'No' to Mikael Samuelsson

f*** no to him.... couldn't stand him for every 1 big goal he would do 50 bonehead plays (horrible pp point, shooting instead of passing, lazy backchecks etc...) stay away!!!

I'm pretty sure Montreal is serious when they say Moen isn't getting dealt, but the return of Sammy?

Wouldn't look forward to hearing "Shoots wide" ten more times a night.

#2262215 Carter to LA

is it just me, or do those pictures of Carter and Richards remind you of the same two douchy s***heads you see in every college bar in the country? Maybe the douchy frat guy schtick was invented in Canada.
