Hudler needs to stay put on this team, and on the line he's on. Monday can't come soon enough so all this shipping off Hudler business can just be over with. The guy has a ton of potential and i think he can become and maintain a 65-75 point pace every year. Why trade that for an unproven D-man out of ATL? Because were all obsessed with deadline day moves?
in all seriousness though, im so glad Crosby isn't going to play...they can't possibly talk about him then, can they? Awesome to see Lidstrom get some major props. Now he can complete the honors with a Norris and Stanley Cup
Wings forward Jiri Hudler is on the trade block, if he is traded it will be closer to the trade deadline.

Obviously, take with a grain of salt.
is this a legit source? if so, i just dont understand how the Wings organization can be so ready to pull the trigger and send off a guy who can be a six player with 25-35 goals a year whose only 26...sure he's in some slump right now but i do believe the year before he defected he went something crazy llike 30 games in between goals. Like other young players the goal is always consistency. Why send off top six potential because of a slow start?
The first thing that I thought of was that maybe that will make room for the supposedly new and improved Aaron Downey. It'd be great to have him as a reserve forward. But Draper's problem isn't that bad I'm guessing.
EDIT: Or perhaps even better, they'll be able to keep Miller and Ritola.
