Already emailed these to Puck Daddy, not sure if they'll be shown there though. Then found out about this thread, enjoy: The Three Tenors. Unoriginal, but made it anyway.

With his 1st career playoff hat tricklast night in game two of the opening series in Phoenix against the Coyotes, Henrik Zetterberg passed Slava Kozlov, a player known for being clutch in the playoffs, for 8th place on the Red Wings all-time Playoff Scoring Leader list with 79 points (42 goals and 37 assists) in 87 career post-season games. Zetterberg also passed Kozlov for 6th place amongst the franchise’s career playoff goal scorers.

    In need of....

A general absolution from the Hockey Gods.... My wife and I are having our 2nd child on Wednesday. She has told me to shave the playoff beard. I need to be absolved of the sin of shaving my playoff beard and maybe the great posters here at LGW could provide it.

    McCarty on Vs....what happened?

Or he didn't genuflect as he passed the Cindy statue in the studio.

McCarty was probably unwilling to suck Crosby off like the other analysts always do, so they canned him.

    Bertuzzi Appreciation Thread

A lot of people have abused Todd for his lack of intensity and physical play so this thread is aimed to appreciate the man who "calls the goalie Suzy." In Game 2, Bertuzzi's willingness to take a hit to make a play led to Filppula's first goal, his instinct to throw the puck on net as Zetterberg was crashing it let to Z's second goal and him going to the front of the net to give Bryzgalov and the Coyote d-men all they can handle led to Filppula's second goal. He ended the night with two points but played a key role in three of the seven goals scored in Game 2. While he may not be big, bad Bert from his Vancouver heyday he has shown that he will certainly a play a big role on this team if they are to make a Stanley Cup run with his good hands and hockey IQ.

I love the people calling him a greedy a'hole. If you had the opportunity to improve your career elsewhere by possibly improving your talents and making more money, you'd do the same, regardless of your line of work. Hockey/professional sports is no different for a large majority of the people who work there. Of course they want to do good for the team they work for and their employers at the time, but you are going to be selfish by default and possibly go for a better opportunity elsewhere if it presents itself, it's natural. Only reason why people are getting in a tizzy over this is because it is their favorite professional sports team. Hudler did what he think he needed to do to improve his career and earn more money in the process. Good for him. Didn't quite work out. Loyalty to an employer is a great and honorable thing, but sometimes you need to take chances though and no reason to hold him against that. Wouldn't mind having him back here, he did very well in his defined roles here more often than not as a PP specialist and typically 3rd-line time.

    4/17 OOT Playoff Gameday

Somewhat, but it's not just them. Anderson, Nabokov, Bryzgalov, Theodore, Boucher, Halak and Fleury have all been lit up in at least one game and they're not just starting out.

I gotta say I was surprised that his "shift" got so much attention. He couldn't break away from Spezza and almost lost the puck, but Letang was able to make a nice shot in so Crosby gets heralded as such a great player. Same with the "saving the goal." The puck was stopped. Not a huge deal. That said, he had a pretty damn good game and this thread is ridiculously stupid. So Crosby pushed a guy. Big freaking deal.
