never understood the hatred here for lebda. a solid d-man with speed. obviously 1.45M would've been too steep for the wings so good for him getting that deal, but you guys are s***ting on him like he was a scrub. am i the only one that actually liked this guy (a little)? -

When stars leave to the KHL, this is far worse than having 3rd or 4th line euros doing it. This is bad for the NHL, and it could get worse if Kovalchuk follows. -

I think you might be. To call him solid is an overstatement, for sure. My gripes started initially with his giveaways, namely a costly one in 2007. The more I paid attention to him, the more I noticed his lack of.. everything. Fast, true, but that doesn't earn you a roster spot when it's your only upside. -

Absolutely.. I ignore the age factor and look at the upside, and it's most likely only for a year (can't see a two year deal) so i'm all for it...most on this board seem to be for it.. maybe 20% against? -
1 pointTerrible trade idea. They're both equally valuable, they just play different styles of games. Getzlaf is more suited for the Ducks' style of play and Zetterberg is more suited to the Wings. The trade would make both teams worse.

I went to the AC/DC concert Friday night in Vegas at the MGM Grand. This is me on the bridge with my light up devil horns over the strip between NYNY and MGM Angus doing his thing to 'High Voltage' From my seat while they did 'Back in Black' You can see all the red devil horn lights in the crowd. I have been to a lot of concerts, and this one was one of the best and by far the loudest I have been to.
