    High End Trade Options

Would love to get Bobby Ryan. Would trade Filppula, Cleary, Hudler's rights and 1st. If they didnt want that then I would rather keep the team we have.

    Bobby Ryan

Would love to get him...not sure aI'd like to give up what they would be asking for though. I'd go as far as Filppula, Cleary, Hudler's rights and a 1st. Thats about it.

im still hearing that Detroit is scouting the Sabres hard. Gaustad, Boyes and Roy are all possible targets there. Ive also heard the Kubina deal may actually materialize in the next 48 hours. also just heard that the Flyers are reportedly in discussions with CBJ for Nash...

What Ken Holland should do at the deadline

give me Brian Allan and Travis Moen.

    Zach Parise

agreed 100% . that trade would be one of the worst over payments in history... I say we wait until the offseason to get him as a UFA...hes not worth giving up any of our prospects, just to have him leave in July.

    Jeff Carter

I see where you heads at...but I would much rather hang on to the current prospects we have (Jurco, Jarnkrok, Nyquist, Pulkkinen,Tatar, Tvrdon)...I just think there is too much potential in these guys to get rid of them to bring in a guy that we dont really need. I mean, we are 1st overall in the league right now, so to give up these prospects that are oozing with talent and potential would be a mistake in my opinion. I would however consider that trade if Sheahan were involved. For some reason im just not seeing the wow factor with this guy. Maybe a deal like Kindl+Sheahan+Ferarro and a 2nd rounder...I dont know anyone with me on this?

How Would You Fix the All Star Game?

I do not really care about the actual All Star game... As for the Skills Competition, If it were me, I would have each team send one player from their roster to represent them for every skills competition event. for example example: Fastest Skater : Darren Helm Break Away Challenge : Pavel Datsyuk Hardest Shot : Nick Lidstrom Shooting Accuracy : Henrik Zetterberg Elimination Shootout : Todd Bertuzzi Skills Challenge Relay :(made up of players selected for the other events) Goaltenders : perhaps the top 6 goalies in the NHL in wins? something like that. if they did this they could have as many heats as they needed to truly discover which team has the best in each category. also the league could select 2 Captains out of all the players selected to compete in the Skills Competition and they could draft their teams from the 150 players sent or something like that. This is just my opinion...

if it is true that all they want is draft picks then I say go for it
