Suter, Nash & Semin....please...

No....those guys I listed are apart from the trade for Nash... I am not saying trade Emmerton/Mursak/Miller/Nyquist for Nash... Whatever the trade will cost to land Nash. Then you will have to dump some bottom 6'ers to make roster spots for the new acquisitions, so whoever isn't traded in the Nash deal from the ones I listed will be in danger of losing a job to make room for Tootoo, Sammy, Semin and Brunner...

Mr. Holland, if you make the Nash deal right now, it will more than likely guarantee Suter signs with your team...then Parise will come calling and you can say....too late Zach....then sign Semin and Abby and trade the excess and be done...We Want Stanley! Right. I wasn't saying those guys would clear enough, I was saying make the trade for Nash (Franzine plus -or- Filppula plus) then sign Suter and Semin. But having Nash and Semin some folks will be bumped out, that is what I was referring to with the other names (unless some of those names are included along with Franzine or Filppula in the Nash deal.) Either way, a couple of bottom 6'ers will be sans job come October.

Make the trade to clear enough cap space for Nash, Suter & Semin...I have to think Emmerton/Mursak/ One of Miller and Eaves and possibly Nyquist (although he may be waiver safe) are in danger of losing their jobs...

Holland will move him, but I am not sure he will get a starting spot....I will take the conditional pick for him...

Well Filppula is a 2nd line center and he would draw them Selanne back for another year...also Franzen is a natural Center... We got the goods, if we can't get Nash, get Ryan...

I didn't say I could care less either way...I would love him to be here, but if he doesn't then so be it. What can I do? If Holland can pull off a Nash blockbuster that would be even better IMO, or just as impactfull. Even if he doesn't, he could use some of that cash to entice Shane Doan here...or similar. They may even fit better with the players we have....there is only one Zach Parise, but he may not be the one to put us over....put it this way, if we land him and lose out on Suter I will be more upset than if it were opposite...tons more!

Well then if Holland is serious, he'll just have to up that to $8M-$9M....longer contract...front loaded so he is making $10M-$11M a year for over half the contract... What Mr.I wants, Mr.I gets....all he has to do is feel slighted by Shero and the Pit owner and "Badaboom!" Parise will be his....along with Suter. IMO, though I could care less if Parise does not come here. Suter is more important, then Holland can focus on the Doan's around the league... besides if Holland lands Nash, we'll be saying Parise? I see Suter coming here for sure....others are up in the air. Holland will need to fill at least ONE top 6 role. I am still hoping for a Nash trade, but we all know the list of UFA's for plan's B - Zzz. Most important is Suter hands down, bar none, the juckf****** pott...

Well wingydingy....they need to sign 2 forwards and 2 defensmen. If they give Brunner that spot, then yes one forward, but you better believe it will be a top 6 rather than a bottom 6. 2 defensmen, sure they have Quincey as a RFA, but dump him and get Suter & Garrison...That will bring them to 23 players. When and if they keep Abby, someone (Emmerton or Mursak) will be bumped out. May as well go for Doan too and bump both of them or trade them in a package or just for some draft pick depth.... <SLAP> You watch your mouth!

Just say no to Quincey...Holland qualified him for $3.125M...let him go RFA or sign and trade him.

Just reading Kulfans article about Holland being aggressive tomorrow, why does he say Wings have aprox. $18M when they have $24M? I am gonna say Suter/Doan/Prust/Meuller/Garrison/Montoya - Detroit... everyone else I could care less about because nobody will be able to touch us after we acquire Nash to go along with those UFA's!

Also, it's be nice to get Petry off their hands and into our system!

This may very well be the first year that Holland HAS to overpay to get what he wants....I am perfectly fine with giving Suter upwards of $8M per year for 7-10 years...but after that Holland will need to be a little more frugal. From what's tweeting today, Pens are favorites for Parise, I am fine with that as long as we get Suter, then some solid plan B's like Semin/Doan, hell we may even pull off that blockbuster to acquire Nash....I think Nash in Detroit is just as good as Parise in Pitt....I personally would love Nash here, just interested to see what would be required to give up! Sign Suter, Sign Garrison, sign Quincey then trade him to Columbus in a package that would get us Nash... I don't care if it would cost us Franzen or Filppula, Nash is worth it, he is locked up for 6 more years and after winning a couple of Cups, he will definitely finish his career here!
