Darrell 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2005 For sheer power, give me the Wild Thing, Al Iafrate. MacInnis is just underneath him and wasn't as injury prone. I can't comment on Bobby Hull and Redmond, never saw either play. I know Bobby had a monster cannon, but also played with sticks which would be illegal nowadays. My List Iafrate MacInnis Bobby Hull Brett Hull Sergei Fedorov Mickey Redmond
eva unit zero 271 Report post Posted September 10, 2005 Bobby Hull. Other guys to consider: Jiri Fischer John Leclair Glen Murray Mike Modano
StaticWithABeat 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2005 Fredrik Modin has a beastly shot too.

haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted September 25, 2005 Iafrate had the cannon in the All-star skill competition, but as for the most devastating shot during games on a regular basis, I'd have to go with MacInnis. (And I never saw Bobby Hull play so I can't comment, but I know he had a hard shot)
fightfan24 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2005 Bobby Hull Reed Larson Dennis Hull Al MacInnis Bernie Geoffreon PP blueline passer -- Bobby Orr, Marcel Dionne, Borje Salming, Brad Park and Lidstrom. Worst point shot: Terry Harper -- he'd float it in there or fan (gosh we were bad back then) which would crack everybody up.

mangothrower 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2005 Nobody ever even came CLOSE to what Iafrate would shoot, up to 105 at the shot competition, but was gunned at up to 110 at other times.
