rwfan007 18 Report post Posted May 24, 2007 (edited) I just encountered the stupidest bird (besides the ducks o'course)... I was on my way home from work and I was on the right side of the road like I am sposed to, when I see a morning dove in the middle of my lane. Well, I keep driving because any normal creature moves when something larger is coming at them. Not this bird. I keep driving and get right on top of it, but I can't swerve because there is a semi in the other lane. I am going like 50 MPH so I really do not have time to slam on the brakes. Well, I figured if I can't swerve, the best chance for this bird is to make sure it misses the wheels. So I center myself and inevitably run over the top of it just to hear a "thud" as it finally started to fly as my car was on top of it. I look in my rear view mirror and all I see is feathers. She loves me, because all Moms love me. So it's like you may have your man's heart wherever he is, but it'll always be overshadowed by the fact that he loves another woman. Am I devious or what?
