Wingsfan25161929 3 Report post Posted June 15, 2007 I hope that you feel better soon Thanks... what was that cuss word we made up? cuz i need it right now... so heres the thing... my softball team was going for a 5-0 record tonight. we were down 14-11 going into the bottom of the last inning. we get 2 runs in with 2 outs to get it to 14-13. The bases got loaded with 2 outs and in the co-ed league we play in, if the male batter is walked he gets to go automatically to 2nd base... in this case that would bring in 2 runs and we would win... he walks. game over, right? NO! after we were all celebrating, the umpire yells out, "Batter did not touch first base! No runs score! Game over!" Our batter never went to first base because he thought the game was over because he walked, but the umpire rang him up for out #3 and we lose our first game of the season. AGH! ummmm was it fenx? Is that the one? Idk the other one... anyhow, that sucks! I'm sorry. I HATE umps/refs like that. I'm off to bed, got an early shift tomorrow...6:30am Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
