Yeah we survived... won't really know the total extent of the damage until daylight... but it looks like our side of the sub got a pass from the tornado and it struck 50ft south east of our area. Homes are missing roofs and LOTS of structural damage all around. THey are showing America Red Cross in our sub now also... which is just strange as you always hear about this damage EVERYWHERE ELSE, but never near you. I can still see flashing emergancy lights when I look out my back window... Also, news choppers are still flying over head. Wow, this is just unbelievable.

but watching the storms... thank god we don't live in Fenton although my thoughts are with them as they try to rebuild that devistated town

BTW go TIGERS! as they should be starting their original 7pm start at about 11pm :)

so its in the fort and its the dude who studied digestion stuff from a soldier with an unhealed stomach wound?

Correct...

From what I remember they have it set up with dummies and the doctor is dangleing a piece of meat on a string into the guys stomach... I always remember that as being awesome yet disturbing.

Amazing picture from tonights tornado ridden storm.

John T. Greilick / The Detroit News

it looked nothing like that in sarnia. we got some rain for like 5 min and some thunder and lightning and that was it. nothing horrible. the power went out for like 5 seconds and came back on.

wait there was a tornado?.... wow

I'm in India right now actually, can anyone tell me exactly where it hit, anywhere near Rochester Hills?

glad everyones ok

I'm not sure if there was one in that area. I heard there was one in Holly and one in Hartland, and I only heard that because those places are near where I live.
