My dad just called at said he is at the hospital with him because he fell backwards while putting (he is going to be 100 in november) and shattered his hip. They doctors told my dad they dont know if it as his age he can even pull through a surgery to repair it... I only have bits and pieces here... On Sunday when I told my roomie and her friends I couldn't go out because the game was on, one guy asked me to text him if anything happened so I thought he was a fellow fan. Minutes later, Lidstrom scored his amazing goal and I texted him "lids got a shortie from center ice!!!" Now that made perfect sense to me and everyone in livechat, but today the guy confessed to me that it took him over a half hour and asking 3 other non-hockey guys to figure out what it meant!! The "center ice" bit clued them in that it was hockey, and after a while they figured out that lids = Lidstrom, but they were stumped by shortie - somehow they were thinking that lids got a 'hot girl' shortie from center ice lmao!
