My sisters boyfriend was in the police acadamy and he had to drop out this go around becuase he was in the hospital for 2 weeks straight with intense pain. UofM never figured out what it was. I got my brothers football jersey and basketball jersey and my cheerleading pullover. It made me cry just thinking that this school will never be open again. wingnut22 81 Report post Posted October 2, 2009 thats sad about your school amber I gave blood today, and the lady first couldnt find my vein, she finally found it and it wasnt bad didnt really hurt too bad. so then I fill up the bag and they need to get the vials of blood....but they cant get blood to come out. so they wiggle the needle and move it all around trying to figure out why no blood is coming out. then they realize "the device" was clotted. so they fix that and get the rest of the blood. bandaged me all up with a pressure bandage and all this. glasgowcelticwing 18 Report post Posted October 2, 2009 did they ever figure out what was wrong with her? Yeah. She was doubled up with a pain around the area where the appendix is located. It's a common problem apparently for pregnant women to have this. So she thaught it might be that. So I rushed her to the hospital thinking it might be this, took her to the emergency room but the Nurse sent us up to the labor ward saying she thinks that she might be going into premature labor. We both were kinda shocked by this cause we didn't expect it. So they took some tests and found out she was very dehydrated. Apparently this braught on the pain because her muscles wern't getting all the water they need so between this and the natural pains that pregnant women get at this stage in their pregnancy with the growth of the baby expanding her womb and in doing so straining her stomach muscles. The Nurse said we got her in just in time cause another day or so and she could have went into labor and gave birth. But like I said Jen is doing ok although she's still in some pain and discomfort. The baby is doing really good. She's got a very strong heart and seeing how hyper she is moving around (which freaks me out sometimes btw) in Jen's belly she's gonna be a little ball of energy. No not pickles and ice cream but a couple of nights ago I got woke up about 2.30 in the morning and told that she wanted taco bell.lol. She's actually been really good with things like that. Although If she does want anything it usually starts with the words " the baby wants".lol. As for the pregnancy terminology yeah i've been reading a little about it all to prepare and such. I told her that they are there for good and they will never come off. Shes computer stupid. its kinda funny. Now I just need to get her to use a debit card. She refuses to use one. She likes checks better. I tell her that she spends more money writing a check then she would remembering a 4 digit pin number and swiping a card...she tells me she wont remember her pin number. In reality she doesnt want to give up checks cuz she always gets harley ones. lol. There is gonna be a day when no one takes a check and she is going to be screwed! I worked really hard and made some really good money.(I'm really liking having my own business again. ) Got home and went out for dinner to celebrate our Anniversary. We then went to the mall and after walking around a while and this is when Jen told me her plan. Ok so we're having our baby girl this year. thennnnnnnnnnnn next year we're gonna be going on vacation with (when) my family coming over from Scotland (which is planned) thennnnnn we're gonna be having (trying) for another baby.
