Looks like Dude or Wattie walloped her hard and now her eye is all red and weird looking. Now she's blinking alot and purring like a machine gun as usual (lol) when anyone pets her . . . . . it is unknown wether the winking is because of the wallop or she's coming on to everyone. Me before the Predator butt whipping this weekend at the Sommet Center in Nashville. Me showing off and excited that I actually know how to use a snow scraper for my car when I was in Nashville this weekend. Keep in mind I don't see snow all that much. I was glad to read that you were actually treated well at the Sommet Center too. I must admit that everything I've thought about the Sommet Center/Gaylord Arena was through the eyes of TV (the image of, no joke, some mostly toothless redneck guy wearing a diaper and holding a sign reading a misspelled "Chelios is a crybaby" sign on a Nashville feed a couple years ago sits strongly in my mind), but if you had a good time, that's a bit of a paradigm shift for me. The worst I saw Saturday evening was somebody holding a Chelios is a Sissy sign and somebody wearing a Red Wings Suck t-shirt (which they did that night ) who I had brief conversations with. Stuff like that is just so not worth getting angry or heartburn over. It's all in good fun and that's rated-G material. Stuff like that is funny to me. As long as people aren't just over the top verbally abusing me or throwing stuff at me or trying to start s**t, we're gonna have a good time. From what I saw, Nashville is a nice city and the Sommet Center is a solid arena and the Predator fans I came across were cool and friendly and stuff. While I was nowhere near the French Quarter and only downtown right outside the New Orelans French Quarter for one parade, I did not see one person flash for beads, nor was I looking out for anything like that. It's not like it is a brand new concept for people and there's a time and place to see that stuff (i.e. indoors privately). I really don't care to see people humiliating themselves out in public and prefer to see more of family/friends and floats and marching bands and the like, what Mardi Gras is really about.
