WingMan56 0 Report post Posted September 23, 2006 i admit to my bias here... fact is i'm tired of seeing the miller boys parade their pathetic MSU pride around local rinks... i don't have any legitimate reason to not be impressed by kip, i'm just not. i'd rather get excited about hamilton and hussey... that's all. Ah..ok lol Yeah, Hamilton was definitely a huge pick up. He's a consistent 30+ goal scorer so he should help replace the offense we lost when Maclean left. I'd expect 35-40 goals from him playing on a line with Filppula. Miller should replace Manlow's offensive output, and guys like Kolanos Hussey and Langfeld should all be 20+ goal scorers also. You do realize that Kip Miller's 1.09 points per game is the highest in Griffins history, and that he is among the all-time leaders in total goals, assists, and points? It's not like he's some NHL washup who is just latching onto any team that will take him.
Seth 0 Report post Posted September 25, 2006 totally agree. I'd actually, infact definetly perfer to have a young'in fight to earn that spot. There are still some very soild AHL/NHL UFAs out there that would be great for any organization espeically this one!
