Nothing much of use. That's a very awkward (and expensive) package to trade away at the deadline. Who's going to want or need two 1st line centers and a 3rd string goalie?

I think he means by dealing lang and datsyuk seperately. To answer the question, not top line talent, unless they get back someone in their contract yr.

WELL WE SHOULD TRY TO SIGN DATSYUK IF HE DOES NOT SIGN TRADE HIM

MACDONALD IS A back up goalie he is good give him a chance but he has good trade valve

since he will be unrestricted at seasons end we wouldnt get much for datsyuk so we might as well trade him , plus i doubt there will be muchbetter in the free market then pavel , teams are locking up their stars to longer term deals now preventing them from testing the market

as much as some of you , dont like him cause of his playoff stats , the kids got talent theres no denying that , someone will give him the big bucks , id rather it be us , hes got to break out in the playoffs sooner or later right ? lol

anyways we got a steal with zetterberg's salary so we can afford to give pavel a 4 yr contract with "big money" , between 5-6 a yr (he'll get it elsewhere) ......we'd have zetterberg and pavel's big money contracts for 2 yrs combined, and after that if pavel still sucks in the playoffs he can walk , or can be traded before that .....plus lidstrom will be gone unfortunetly so that 7+ will help us

what we really need though is a shooter , we got to many playmaking forwards , not a shoot first player pass 2nd ........look at shanahan lighting it up in ny with 6 goals already , f;n crazy ..............man do we miss him

ditto on the Shanny. Really would have perfered to pony up whatever he would have wanted.

Shanny took the same salary in NY that Holland was offering. He didn't leave over money. And Based on Shanny's reasoning, Holland had NO CHANCE to retain him.
