JeeSpot82 10 Report post Posted March 5, 2007 (edited) Lol guess ya didnt catch the sarcasm in my post Jee Oh I absolutely caught it -- sarcasm is my native tongue. ummm... doesn't certain Manny Legace play on the Blues, huh? Indeed he does - must have slipped my mind as I only searched former skaters... MY BAD! Isn't Marty Lapointe now or was captain of the Hawks? I thought I remembered reading that. He also had a stint on the B's too. He wears an "A" for the Hawks - Adrian Aucoin is their current captain. Good guess though! akustyk 84 Report post Posted March 5, 2007 Anyone have a guess at who the other "Former-Wing-turned-other-teams-captain" is? wasn't Keith Primeau captain with Flyers? speaking of Flyers - Hatcher too counts as ex-Wing. but I've no idea if he was C in Philly. he was with Stars though, I guess

Hatcher was, indeed, captian of the Stars, but Forsberg took over for Primeau when Primeau was forced retired. I have no idea if they've named a replacement now that Forsberg is a Predator... JeeSpot82 10 Report post Posted March 5, 2007 Lapointe did wear the C for a while, while Aucoin was out maybe? Possible. I don't catch a lot of Hawks games... you may be right on the money there.
Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted March 5, 2007 Lapointe did wear the C for a while, while Aucoin was out maybe? Yes, the Hawks lost Aucoin for the rest of the season midway last year. So they gave Lapointe the C and somebody else (can't remember, I think maybe Mark Bell) got the other A.
Wingsfan4life19 26 Report post Posted March 5, 2007 Who is captain in Philly now, since Forsberg is gone? Is it former Wing Mike Knuble?
JeeSpot82 10 Report post Posted March 5, 2007 Knuble is down for the count after colliding with Shanahan if I remember correctly. I checked Wikipedia and it claims that there are three "A"s and zero "C"s. Probably wait to re-sign Forsberg in the off-season again haha
