puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted March 11, 2007 :rotflmao: Oh, my gosh, ya'll HAVE to see this. It's my pet peeve (well, one of them) that announcers can't say "ha-shek" when they pronounce Dom's name. Now they can't spell it either?? http://www.nhl.com/nhl/app?service=page&am...&gameType=2 "Boston got on the board first, 5:26 into the game, when Sturm's shot from the top of the right circle along the boards beat Hassock, who was screened." Somehow... NHL.com just lost a bit of their credibility with me. Someone let their 13 year old kid write the re-cap today, or what?

FinWing 26 Report post Posted March 12, 2007 Thanks man.. but really i think we should all be positive. The Wings are a great team this year and i have faith seeing them in the cup finals this year in June You're so right. I always have faith, even last year after we lost game 5. There's always hope and it ain't over until it's over. It doesn't hurt to be positive and it feels so much better when everything finally falls into place after some disappointments. We have a solid organisation, a good team and the future always looks good. Why not be positive?
Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted March 12, 2007 Anywhoot, crappy loss, but there go my Wings bumbling the game vs. a less capable team, again. I was not surprised at the loss, but was kinda hoping they would manage a squeaker. Not to be. Kira was at the game today, with her best friend, Ellen, who is a Bruins fan. Ellen is happy. She owes Kira dinner (because the B's won), but I am sure Kira would trade free dinner for a "W" today. I actually think it's good that we were destroyed instead beaten in a squeaker. As I've said before, and many of you likely feel, a utter embarassment like tonight's game is like starving an animal before the hunt. You let a half-starved wolf out of the cage in front of a rabbit and that rabbit is in reeeeealllll trouble. If we had lost to the Sabres (well the full strength Sabres) in a hard-fought battle the psychological effect on Tuesday's game wouldn't have been the same. Of course this effect would be enhanced by having a key player return to the line-up... but I don't see that happening.
auxlepli 17 Report post Posted March 12, 2007 I know this is the NHL, that every game is tough ... but the last two games have been disappointing efforts IMO. The Wings should put away teams like the Kings and Bruins.
elriqo28 2 Report post Posted March 12, 2007 Ah crap. How the hell did THAT go in? We're screwed come playoff time if this is the goal tending we are going to have!!!!!!
Vincanni 1 Report post Posted March 12, 2007 We're screwed come playoff time if this is the goal tending we are going to have!!!!!! Are you responding to a post that's almost eleven hours old and I don't know how many pages back? That is extremely odd, but I wouldn't worry about our goaltending. It's just one game and as I've stated before Hasek never plays two games in a row badly and in the playoffs that's exactly the type of goalie a championship team needs. And then we need some enforcers to take out those who have hit the panic button way too many times. Marcus, Rabia, HC, Heroes of Hockeytown, harold, Crymson.... it's time to get to work. BuckeyeWingsfan80 209 Report post Posted March 12, 2007 this game shows without a doubt that we will be out in the first round. They weren't ever going to go 82-0 this year. Bad games happen. It's what the team does in the NEXT game, especially in the regular season. Boston had their season more or less on the line, as did the Avalanche the previous Sunday.
