bellarina 1 Report post Posted April 4, 2007 (edited) After the last 2 games he seems to be getting his game back. But after 2 massive hits and he skates away smiling i'd say his back is fine also. Can't wait for the playoffs Didn't know how to edit title ..sorry. Edited April 4, 2007 by bellarina

bellarina 1 Report post Posted April 4, 2007 (edited) Back no "langer" an issue? Is this a stab at Robert Lang? I didn't know how to edit the title Definately not a stab at Lang. Lang will help alot come playoffs Maybe I been readin too many Lang threads which by the way are becoming a bore Edited April 4, 2007 by bellarina
NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted April 4, 2007 Bert looks fine out there, and definitely seems to be at 100%. That being said, back injuries are tricky. You never know when a goofy hit will end up causing some pain. Here's hoping it doesn't happen!
timothy1997 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2007 Yup. Bert's back looks much better and clearly is no LONGER and issue.

jpfalcon09 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2007 Last night on the Fox Ohio broadcast they said Bert still has some problems tying his skates, he'll experience some tightness and soreness but it's nothing that keeps him out of game shape.
betterREDthandead 58 Report post Posted April 4, 2007 Sorry, but the back will always be an issue. Like for the rest of his career. Back injuries are like concussions, you get one once and you're at increased risk. Right now he looks to be as healthy as he's going to be and that's the main thing. I guess the same can be said about Zetterberg now too.
LSSU Hockey 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2007 Backs take a while to heal up right. If thats all he has after back surgery, consider it a blessing. Calgary is what you need to worry about.
Covenant 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2007 With the physicality he's been displaying the last couple of contests I'd say it's not "enough" of an issue to hinder his play.

redwingfan19 293 Report post Posted April 4, 2007 he will have some tightness and stiffness, that comes with back surgery, but as long as he takes care of it the right way much like dom is doing with his grion then I don't see it being an issue at all. Bert is playing great hockey right now and he's doing exactly what we need him to do.
