Oh my lawd! I cannot handle this back and forth-ness!!

AWESOME THAT YOU ARE GOING TOMORROW!!! I will be there as well! Where are your seats?

I'm seriously counting down the hours!

I don't even know if I can sleep tonight, yet work tomorrow!!!!!!! This week has dragged on forever and it seems like years before tomorrow comes.

I'll be in Section 205. Where are you sitting?

man you know youre a fan when jsut the sight of others going to a game and you cant possibly go makes your heart feel heavy

Oh, man, I know totally how you feel. I'm so sorry!!! :( I'm going because I was GIVEN the tickets!!!!!! I've never been to a playoff game before (actually it was not that I couldn't go to one before, I wouldn't go because they always lost when I went. But my 'curse' has been broken, and now they win each and every time I go.)

GO WINGS!!!!!

I blame Osgood, of course. If only he hadn't let in that stupid goal......

Damnit.

Well at least the Wings are prepared. They won without Bertuzzi for most of the year and Zetterberg is back. This just means someone is going to have to step up.

Look at it this way: the Flames are so bad on the road that we could play 12 Josh Langfelds and still have a fighting chance at the Joe.

I am definitely not sleeping tonight! I CANNOT. I'm sooo freaking excited!! I have class at 10 and so Im just going to be like a zombie walking into class..a very energetic, red winged out zombie. HAHA im wearing my jersey, hat, charm...and everything Red Wings to class.

I'm in section 226! But I care not because I am going to be there and that's all that matters!!

I can't wait to see the stuff they do before the game!

How is the Wings Road Record ;)

Flames won 4 in a row, on their last road swing. :P

Oh, and that started off by Beating Detroit and then the Preds at home. :P

DITTO!!!!!!

I have to work until 5, so I will be heading down to the Joe right after, so I hope I don't miss a lot of the activities. We park at Hockeytown and take the shuttle to the Joe. Man, I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!

man wouldnt it be sick if during the middle of the first period, iginla is skating with the puck and bert jumps through the glass, lays him out, turns around and scores? Thatd be an entrance

I believe that would cause many-a-fan to forget the Stanley cup even exists, let alone that we care about winning it.

(And I honestly think that would be the Pinnacle of All Hockey, Ever.) Don't even try to disagree, in your heart you know this is Gospel truth.

Yeah, the Flames 13 road wins are certainly an impressive feat this season. Considering this is also out of 41 road games. Good call on that one.

on After 40 minutes during the Sens-Pens game on CBC Drew Remenda said that the Wings aren't sure if Bertuzzi will be in tomorrow, it'll be decided tomorrow

OK, I didn't read through all 4 pages, but 2 things stick out here.

1)The Wings won the West mostly without Bertuzzi, the sky is definately not falling, if they can win game 1 without Bert that will be a huge boost. However, losing game 1 will be very rough.

2)What is the condition about Bertuzzi playing in a certain % of playoff games?

How did you hear it wasn't sold out yet?? I have a hard time believing that..........

I just checked on ticketmaster. The game will definitely sell out. But as of now, the only seats left are in row 18 of the lower bowl and row 25 for the upper.

You don't f**k around with concussions. I realize not everyone here understands how serious they are, but they're a growing problem in lots of sports. Doctors are learning more and more that if a player returns from a concussion too soon, it can cause irreversible damage.

Yeah, exactly. Irreversible damage like death. Second Impact Syndrome...google it and let me know if you were the doctor or athletic trainer in charge of managing a concussion if you would let someone return to play while still experiencing concussion symptoms. I certainly would not want that on my head and I tend to be very cautious with returning athletes to play after a concussion. There's a reason why athletes retire because of reoccurring concussion symptoms.
