They're doing drop passes a foot before the blue line or just lazily passing out of the zone instead of skating it out when they have the chance or firing it out off the glass. No doubt the Ducks 4th liners have been given the message to try and take any Wings player off the ice for 5 minutes. I don't know but it looked like Thornton was getting a penalty there.
