NMUSTU 0 Report post Posted May 18, 2007 we need to stop taking penalties and allowing PP goals. And we need to score, but I am not so sure that's gonna happen. Nothing on two 5-3's makes me think we're not gonna take this one. I had a feeling the Pronger suspension would backlash and this would happen. They can't buy a goal this period. looking at the bigger picture, yeah we let in a few PP goals... however their PP still stinks 2 for 38 i think over the whole playoffs so i wouldnt worry about that all too much, i think we need to worry more about the mental part of making smart plays/passes/and not taking penalties etc... and i agree with the pronger comment, one guy leaving a game shouldnt make a lot of difference (re: schneider and or kronwall) they remedied the loss of pronger quite well (meaning their forwards are actually doing their job...)
