Overall though, I've got to say that I'm DAMN proud of this Detroit team This is a team that was supposed to struggle to even make the playoffs. They were supposed to be out hit and out worked by Calgary. We were supposed to be thrown all over the ice & way outscored by the Sharks. And we weren't even supposed to be able to compete with the Ducks. This is a team that has consistently proven their critics wrong. So we didn't win the Cup this year. You can't win every year. And I for one am damn proud of the fact that we made it this far, in spite of everyone in the hockey world saying we couldn't. Here's to the 2006-2007 Detroit Red Wings! Great job guys! It shows a lot of promise for the future, seeing that much heart from this "soft" team. I have faith that we'll be right back to the WCF this time next year.
