(just being a smart ass) so what did you guys think of the game?? fill me in here.... I'll give the Ducks credit. Although they're in big trouble at times, they still manage to find ways to win. Emery and Giggy both played a great game. Giggy didn't have as much action, but made a few unbelievable saves. The Ducks seemed to have just that little extra jump in their skates all night, and if the Sens don't match their intensity and hustle fast this series is done in 5 max. Of course this makes me depressed because I think we could have played very well against the Sens. The thing about the Ducks is, it just isn't very exciting hockey. Grit is fine, but if that's all you have, well there isn't much art to it. It is like Windows - it is boring, but it works and has taken over the world. Ducks deserve all the credit in the world for their play and it will be nice to see a bunch of hard working guys lift the cup for the first time. Go Quackers!! and Wings in '08!! The Sens are really looking completely disintrested in being here(they do know the winner gets the CUP in this round right). I didn't catch any of their games this year but is it common for the commentators to show more drive and heart . Maybe a few - but most of us never were. Sure it was upsetting when your team had a good edge in a series against a great team and blew it - but the Ducks get credit there too for sticking around in games and winning the last three. From what it's looking like right now, the Ducks-Wings was the real SCF series - as it should be, the West is best. Like I said above, the only reason the East won the last two is because we sent our cinderella's to the finals. Now you're seeing what happens when we send our top teams.... That being said, there wasn't as much flow to this game as I would've liked, but nonetheless, I guess I'm happy the Ducks won. They get to sports and start talking about how the Duckies won game 2 and lead the series 2-0. The entire time they are talking they are showing highlights from game 1. Hockey at the beach. I mean, you guys probably call the Wings a bunch of European ******* on your message boards. It's our opinions. Just like you probably have your own opinion of the Wings, Sens, or any other team in the NHL. A few backlash comments aren't going to change how we feel about a team, so drop it. The Sens really look like a one line team and even they are getting dominated by the checking line. It's also not fair to have Pronger & Neidermayer together. That's just ridiculous. Time for the Sens to be like the Wings and break up that top line. I guess the Wings and the Ducks are the top 2 in the league.
