ShanahanMan 473 Report post Posted July 3, 2007 Kenny sat back and waited, thinking they were gonna give in to him. Bad move, now its desperation time to sign a goalie and a forward
NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted July 3, 2007 Ask Nashville or Atlanta that question. In terms of gain vs. loss, the Wings did practically the most while giving up the least.

betterREDthandead 58 Report post Posted July 3, 2007 Well, we don't have Jason Williams sitting around taking up cap space and ice time. That's a plus.
StevieY9802 6 Report post Posted July 3, 2007 Ask Nashville or Atlanta that question. In terms of gain vs. loss, the Wings did practically the most while giving up the least. And San Jose. The Wings went to the WCF's. It worked and there is never a guarantee. Once again he wasn't worth 4mil. Holland didn't expect him just to sign. He had a price he didn't want to go over and he didn't. Matt 1,049 Report post Posted July 3, 2007 Kenny sat back and waited, thinking they were gonna give in to him. Bad move, now its desperation time to sign a goalie and a forward It's not that at all. The Wings had certain figures that had slotted away for each player (Schneider/Bertuzzi) and when the bidding exceed that Holland pulled out.
stillwater 186 Report post Posted July 3, 2007 So the Wings should have overpaid Bertuzzi and surrendered it's 2008 2nd rounder?
