Honestly, at this point I would take either of the three. But if I absolutely had to choose one. I have to go with Guerin. Soley because not only does he bring scoring to the table(just like the other two). But he also brings physical play. Yeah he had a bad post season. But I dont see that happening again. He would be a great fit with this team.

I would have loved to see Kozzi come back, but since it didn't happen we should go after Guerin, Peca or Anson Carter. Like I said in a previous post, The only mistake Anson Carter made was going to MSU

honestly if you don't watch hockey then why would you be on the forums, Flip is Stevie Y best find so far. He has played great in the playoffs to prove that.

I think we should pick up Yashin if the price is right but I wouldn't count on us picking up anybody else just yet. we will go into the season with our young kids, have some $$$ in the bank for any problems we encounter.

Flips as ready as he'll ever be , I want to see him as the second line centre next season. he's more than capable of doing that job.

What is the big attraction to Adam Hall that a few people have? Sure he has some size but I've never really seen him use it... I remember him getting drilled by Nedved sometime this year ... he doesn't bring much offensive upside and he is not a very good fighter, nor is he very willing to fight... he's like half of Franzen, I don't see where we would fit him in the line up (especially with Drake here)

He has the best chance of coming here.

I mean, sure there are better options, but knowing Holland he won't jump on them. I like Hall because he has shown times where he's willing to fight. He's also not a caveman on skates either: for a guy that normally plays a checking line role, 15 goals is a pretty good contribution.

Where do you get the idea Yzerman had ANYTHING to do with getting Filppula? Filppula was drafted while Yzerman was still playing. Without knowing for sure, I would assume he was found by Hakan Andersson as usual. Holland is the GM and made the final decision to draft him. How any of that is Yzerman finding him, I don't know.
