eva unit zero 271 Report post Posted August 19, 2007 I wonder if its some poorly written experiment to see how ratings and attendance records are during the preseason to compare them to WC preseason games. The preseason games vs the East are designed to appease the crowd that is upset about not seeing the other conference during the regular season, I thought that was pretty obvious. While the schedule sucks as a whole, there are plenty of weekend Wings/Hawks games being played at the UC which is great for me! Look for me there, I'll be the guy wearing Detroit red! I wouldn't do that if I were you, buddy. That other guy is going to beat your ass if you're in Wings gear! Of course, come to think of it, most of the crowd will probably be in Detroit red as well. It'll work like camoflauge. Who likes the new way of scheduling?! I remember an interview with Gary Bettman and they asked him if he was going to do anything regarding the widespread disapproval of the schedule, and he said, "oh no, our sources say the fans are loving it..." What crap is that?! Who's liking it?! I bet he just pulled that right out of his grimy Garry Bettman ass. Maybe fans in more interesting divisions like it? Guest jaytan Report post Posted August 20, 2007 This will probably be Hockey Day in Canada I am excited as technically if the wife will allow it i can hit all 3 games in Canada this year - lets hope lol if not i am shooting to the sens game on Jan 12th Do the Senators and Habs not get to participate this year?
