I was thinking of having a season kickoff party this year on Saturday, October 6th. Wings play the Blackhawks at 8:30pm so we can meet up at night to watch the game. Not sure about location but open to all suggestions. What does everyone think?

You know you can count on me! Saturday night, Wings are on, beer is in the offering - it doesn't get any better than that!
Can't wait to read the "Phoenix: I still think it's a hockey market" chapter of Gary Bettman's autobiography. I'm guessing it's going to be chapter 11.

That's a home MSU football game (A.K.A. Tailgate Saturday) and one of my best friend's birthdays, so I would not be able to attend. Maybe next time!

This is just pitiful! We are the Red Wings Nation Headquarters and we can't get a group together to watch a game?

Its tough when only a fraction of the people on these boards are actually from Detroit. A decent fraction buy still. Im from Ontario so I could probably make the trip.

I'd love to attend, but there is a 99% chance I'll be working 2pm to 10pm.
