dw185 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2007 Well, considering the absolutely insane defense of Pronger by Brian Burke, It just proves that Pronger as well as the rest of the team are there to do just that, give out cheap shots. Brian Burke emboldened him and essentially geave him the go ahead to take cheap shots in the finals. Brian Burke's defense of his "hit" on holmstrom solidified to me what kind of team this is to put such people in leadership positions. The next logical step is to give Pronger the captain position. The ducks obviously have no qualms about messing someones face up, or giving concussions to other players. Quite the opposite it seems to be a resume enhancement. Joking aside though, I don't care that badly about this to get upset and in a rant at Pronger. I'm over what he did in the playoffs, I'm over him in general. He's the captain of the Ducks now.
