Flip-check 6 Report post Posted October 11, 2007 Only thing he needs is the werewolf beard Terri! The Consistent Thing so far? Langkow is keeping it up, even if he's short a sucker punch tonight. The Other Consistent Thing? Ask yourself this: "Iginla who?"
BetweenThePipes 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2007 OMG! Class took forever! But I got back in time to see Drapes tip in Lilja's shot...Awesome!!!
Sevumar 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2007 OMG! Lilypads did something GOOD! Way to go Drapes-your 2 penalties are forgiven now. You have to admit, the penalties called against Draper were pretty poor calls. I think I've done worse to my coworkers.
BlueMonk 102 Report post Posted October 11, 2007 As much as Rafalski needs to adjust to the Detroit system, I love what he just did. The Wings struggling to clear their zone, f**king around trying to pass the puck, stick handle and do everything but put on a tutu and plié with the puck, and... Rafalski just fires it off the glass and out. Yes, it's just that simple sometimes.

RedWingsFanatic 4 Report post Posted October 11, 2007 The Wings have been really sloppy in their own zone tonight. The entire defensive corps has left a bit to be desired thus far, but it was great to see Lilja just slap on from the point. I love to see that. Samuelsson, though, continues to amaze me with his ridiculousness.
Flip-check 6 Report post Posted October 11, 2007 Hey BTP! Yeah it was pretty awesome. Sharp avatar btw. Anyone know if our 3rd goal is considered an even strength goal since we had the extra attacker on the ice??? It's even strength yeah. So here's a step in the right direction... Nero 20 Report post Posted October 11, 2007 Has anyone else noticed Calgary repeatedly sending it back to the blue line when they have a guy or two right in front of the net? Maybe it's just me.. but it looks really dumb.

Guest Agalloch Report post Posted October 11, 2007 Mikael Samuelsson never ceases to amaze me. He's ******* terrible. Once Franzen gets back, the second line needs to be: Franzen - Filppula - Cleary That way we actually have a real second line, which we basically didn't have last year or all this year so far. Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted October 11, 2007 Danny should re-grow the werewolf beard, and stay after practise with Downey, Drake and Lilja and practise fighting for future games agianst Calgary.
Flip-check 6 Report post Posted October 11, 2007 (edited) you're right. I miss that "competence" and confidence on the ice, much as I love some of the newer players. Same here loo. We seriously do have a young team, Drake and Chelios (and Dom, but who is eternally young) aside. I miss it too. I'd love that line. Then we have Maltby-Draper-Drake. But the 4th line, would be like Ellis-Kopecky-Samuleson

I miss it too. yep, I watch the tapes from late 90's and esp. 2002, and there is a different feel to the game entirely. Some of it has to do with new rules, and some with our team makeup now. I've like what I've seen of Drake so far (surprising myself at that, believe me... he wasn't my favorite before he came here.

His ridiculous shots on goal from the blue line with no screens or anything, when he can pass for a MUCH better chance, his terrible turnovers, and his general laziness, such as failing to clear the puck, failing to control the puck, and failing to fight for the puck in corners. If you don't like it, put me on ******* ignore. I'm not the only one complaining about him, because he ******* SUCKS.
Viperar 16 Report post Posted October 11, 2007 You still just made generalizations and havent said one thing tonight about what he has done. How about the bad pass by kronner, he makes those quite a bit Or the horrible backchecking by the team in general.

How about the bad pass by kronner, he makes those quite a bit Or the horrible backchecking by the team in general. Deep breathes Vip. Don't let him/her get to you too much. Focus on the game. Or I'll have to get all motherly on you and ground your little butt. Nice try Kopecky.
