We have got to shoot more, and less turnovers. Also, no more Lilja. I think they've more than proven over the last two games that "s***ty" they are not. RedWingsFanatic 4 Report post Posted October 13, 2007 First off, this isn't the same Blackhawks team. That's obvious. They are much better and much faster and they're going to be tough to play. They earned this win just as much as we gave it away. Secondly, and more importantly, the Detroit Red Wings played an awful game of hockey tonight. Just terrible. That third period was painful to watch, as essentially everything went wrong. They are going to have to be so much better than this. I'm not in panic mode or anything, but this was not pretty. aflac9262 211 Report post Posted October 13, 2007 Hawks deserved this one, simply outplayed and outhustled the Red Wings for forty minutes. Lilja was terrible tonight. He looked like a fool out there, tossing that stick in the shooting lane. He needs to stop fanning on clears too, that didn't help matters very much.
