arnoldbuck 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2007 they're supposed to be coming back next season. Sweet, so we can start seeing the return of threads on whether Detroit is going to dive into the 3rd jersey market.
Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted November 6, 2007 (edited) This is so stupid. They should play the outdoor game in Anaheim or at least in Raleigh, where there are real fans. What are you talking about? How could you say something so ridiculous? The obvious choice's would be Miami or Chattanooga. That's where the real fans are. Skiing - Puck 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2007 Didn't they try to play the Michigan-Michigan State outdoor game a few years ago at Michigan Stadium and they turned it down. Ended up playing the game at Spartan Stadium. Nah, the game was going to be at state. The Cold War was during the last season that State had artificial turf, at that point Michigan had grass and the ice sheet would have left a 200' by 85' spot in the middle of the feild with dead grass from the cold. With the game was in the middle of football season (Oct. 6) It wasnt going to be at Michigan Stadium. Besides the game was Mark Hollis's (incoming AD at State) idea. I was at this game and it was a blast. Michigan Stadium would be a very good choice for venue for the Wings. I also like Toranto as the opponent, but I could also see Chicago being a possibility. Mabye make a hockey festival of the event and have a rematch of MSU and Michigan and maybe a Griffiins game as well before the Wings game.
