First, he picks the Wings to win the cup last year, and without losing hope, he pretty much says their winning it this year, of course the '07 prediction didn't work out, but hey he's faithful. Along with the '08 prediction, he says Sundin will join the lineup and win the cup, making him an HOF shoe-in. I am currently watching NHL on TSN's Habs/Sabres pre-game and he announced the five best overall players in the game today. His list looked as followed... 5. Ryan Getzlaf 4. Sidney Crosby 3. Daniel Alfredsson 2. Vincent Lecavalier and at number one, his pick was none other than, you guessed it, Henrik Zetterberg! I think when its all said and done, and Getzlaf reaches his prime, that he will definitely be a top 5'er, maybe even top 3. But to say that NOW? And Zetterberg is really good but he is not the best player in the league...you cant just go by the hot start, which is what he's doing. No way you can rank him above guys like Lecavalier and Crosby. Zetterberg needs to put up a full outstanding season before you can even think of doing that. As of this point, those guys simply have proven alot more. Not that I dont like the guy, it just seems like that organization will always keep him regardless of playoffs chances/hopes. But then again, I said that about Ryan Smyth in Edmonton.
